Dr. Bhanu Shankar comes with diverse experience in India and the Middle East. Besides teaching, she has headed schools, conducted language and communications workshops for companies and supported various school start-ups. A CELTA certified instructor and CENTA assessor, she is a recipient the 2014 British Council ELTReP Award. Bhanu Shankar has implemented Shared Reading strategies in schools and also has been a teacher advisor for the Model United Nations programs and. She also conducts capacity building workshop for educators.

I'm a Biology Facilitator at Beyond 8, and I'm passionate about my work. Even with the mundane tasks, I find innovation in everything and look forward to each day as an adventure. Working with new people and in unknown spaces is a challenge that I embrace. My family consists of a loving husband and a caring 9-year-old son, and my parents are my biggest source of motivation for teaching. I enjoy experimenting with teaching and learning strategies using research methodologies. I'm excited for each new day and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Hi! Deep from Beyond8 Bengaluru here. I am an English Literature, Language and Global Perspectives facilitator. 15 years of teaching the CAIE and IB curriculum, in Singapore, Kolkata and Bangalore has aided me to fathom the benefits of a student-centric curriculum. Karen has over 7 years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature for the CAIE curriculum. She holds a pre-doctoral degree from the University of Madras on English language Teaching (ELT). As an ELT expert, she has conducted various workshops in schools to facilitate the learning of English through theatre and drama and also studied the implications of it in the classroom. Karen's classroom is a fun place to learn English through various mediums ranging from music, dance, science to even economics!

I support cross-functional teams in establishing a culture of continuous process improvement, including MSA and CAIE accreditation, to meet all KPIs. I use analytics to predict learning potential and integrate it into the learning system. I enjoy creative problem-solving while maintaining compassion and service excellence. With seven years of experience in IT and education sectors, plus a year in UK teacher training, I currently have three years of experience in strategic process improvement.

I am Swati, a former educator turned Learning Pathways Counsellor at Beyond 8. Through this role, I get to have some great conversations with learners and their families, courtesy- our deeply engaging enrollment process. I continue to stay academically relevant through my role as a Cambridge Assistant Examiner for AS and A level Business. Work aside, I spend my time learning and singing Hindustani classical music, working on my fitness goals, scouting for offbeat travel experiences and collecting books (I TRY to read as many as I can!) from authors across the world.

Aakanksha Srinivasan, a former media professional, now focusses on making learning enjoyable for students. Her interests include pop-culture, feminism, internet history, and niche humor. Aakanksha teaches Media Studies for AS and A Levels, and also contributes to the digital marketing team. She values compassionate empathy and strives to incorporate it into her teaching approach.

Having 16 years of experience in educating young minds, out of which 8 years with Cambridge Curriculum, Yamini Vijayaraj facilitates Computer Science and IT for IGCSE/AS/A levels at Beyond 8. She enjoys the journey with the learners and believes that the liberal education is the fulfilling process for the educators as well as the learners. She follows strategy and process for any tasks undertaken by her and she oftem joins hands with the team of process and workflow at Beyond8 recently. She is a hobby photographer and does freelance photography during her leisure time. She joins photowalks with her community during the weekends and participates in annual exhibitions.

I am a learner, a university Gold-medalist, philosopher, teacher, and a doctor with biophilia. I tend to explain a bit more, from radial pulse to how stress helps to reduce stress (biologically). Over the past six or seven years, I have worked in Cambridge-associated schools, teaching the challenging Cambridge English Language course. At Beyond 8, my role as an Enrollment Coordinator involves managing the entire enrollment process, from initial interest to registration form submission, scheduling meetings and center visits, all in coordination with the academic team and facilitators. With nearly six months of experience, I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of this fantastic ecosystem.

My name is Aayushi Srinivasan. I facilitate Psychology for the AS and A Level and Sociology for the IG Level at Beyond 8. While I mostly work remotely, I believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment for the learners, both online and offline, who wish to take these subjects. Advance Levels in Psychology and Sociology can be challenging due to them being heavy on reading and writing, so I try to make it fun by keeping up with current trends in teaching. I enjoy adding humour and memes in my classes. When I'm not teaching, you can find me in Therapy, indulging in quality food, watching Anime and Korean Dramas and Listening to Music.
